 How to create RD CAP and RAP in Windows 2008 R2 - Step by step with screenshots 

 

1. Open RD Gateway Manager by going to Administrative Tools>Remote Desktop Services.

 

 

2. In the Create Authorization Policies for RD Gateway, check Create a RD CAP and a RD RAP.


 

3. Enter the policy name.

 

4. Select authentication method and add user and/or computer groups.

 

5. Enable or disable Device Redirection.

 

6. Set session timeout.

 

7. In the Setting Summary, click Next to continue.

 

8. Enter the RD RAP policy name.

 

9. Add the user group for Resource Authorization Policy.

 

10. Select Network Resources.

 

11. Select Allowed TCP Ports.

 

12. In the RD RAP Settings Summary, click Finish to complete the settigns.
