How to configure Remote Desktop Licensing Mode

1. Open Server Manager in Windows 2008.

2. Navigate to Roles>Terminal Services>Terminal Services Configuration.

3. Click Terminal Services Licensing mode.

4. Click Licensing tab.

5. Select licensing mode, Per Device or Per User. You can also setup license server discovery mode.
