How to
initiate a TS Remote Control session

TS Remote Control does not work from the console. This behavior is by design. To initiate a Remote Control session following these steps:

1.

Open a Terminal Server Client session or RDC to access the Terminal Server.

2.

When the session is running, start Terminal Services Manager from Administrative Tools

3.

Connect to the server on which the user is logged on.

4.

Right-click the user's name, and then click Remote Control.

5.

By default, the user is prompted to accept the Remote Control session. When the user accepts your request you can interact with the user's environment.
