How to configure PEAP Authentication on XP

 

1. Open the properties of the LAN.

 

2. Click on Authentication tab.

 

3. Make sure Enable IEEE 802.1x authentication for the network is checked and other two options are unchecked.

 

4. Select Protected EAP (PEAP) in the EAP type.

 

 

5. Click the Properties of PEAP.

 

6. Make sure no options are checked.

 

7. Make sure Secured password (EAP-MSCHAP v2) is selected in Select Authentication Method.
