Q: The WFH user has one monitor at home computer and two monitors in the office computer. How can she access the second monitor of the remote Desktop?
A: She may have many options. Try this first.
- Hold Tab+Alt keys together and release Tab key. Now, select the application you want to work on.
Then you can use Alt+Space, and select ‘Move’.
2. Hold Alt key, continue pressing tab key until you see the application you want to work on. Release both keys.
They are many other suggestions online. Quoted here:
You can either move your application like the above answer mentions
(alt+tab) – to select the application
(alt+space) – to open options
(m) – to start moving
this will not work if the application is already fullscreen. In that case,
use (alt+space) and (R) to restore the application
and then use (alt+space) and (m) combination to start moving
Another way (not sure if this will work on < windows 10) is to use
win+shift+ctrl+(left/right) after selecting the application
