Is it possible to give permission to a single document?


A: Yes, we can give permission to a single document. This is called granular security in WSS 3.0 and MOSS 2007. We can follow the steps below:

1. Click the arrow button beside a document in a document library.
2. Click Manage Permissions.
3. In the permission settings page, you can edit the permission for this document file then.
