How to Create a Sharing Subfolder in Windows 2008 Cluster

 

1. Run Failover Clusters Manager.
2. In the left side pane, click Services and Applications.

3. In the middle pane, right-click the shared folder that you created in this page: How to Create a File Share Cluster in Windows 2008, and select Properties.



4.  Go to the General tab. Click Advanced.

 

 

5. Go to the Subdirectories tab. Check the Share Subdirectories box. Click OK Apply, Yes, OK, OK.

 

 

6. To check the shared folder you just created, open Computer Management on the computer you created the shared fodler. At the top of the left pane, right-click Computer Management (local). Navigate to System Tools>Shared Folder>Shares. You will see the shared folder.
