How to use portqry to test open ports

 

query LDAP TCP and UDP port 389

portqry -n myserver -p udp -e 389

query RPC TCP and UDP port 135
portqry -n myserver -p udp -e 135
portqry -n myserver -p tcp -e 135

query NetBIOS name UDP port 137

query UDP port 161
For example, to specify a community name such as secure123, type a command that is similar to the following command:
portqry -n 127.0.0.1 -e 161 -p udp -cn !secure123!

query TFTP udp port 69
portqry -n myserver.example.com -p udp -e 69

query SQL udp port 1434
portqry -n 192.168.1.20 -e 1434 -p udp

query L2TP udp port 1701
portqry -n vpnserver.example.com -e 1701-p udp

query FTP tcp port 21
portqry -n MyFtpServer -p tcp -e 21
