How to access Wyse devices remotely

You can using VNC viewer to access device remotely or by using the IE browser with Java plug-ins, use the port 5800 or 5900 to access the device remotely.

For example, using IE browser - example

Open the IE browser > type-in the IP of the remote WTOS device

http://192.168.1.1:5800

How to configure Wyse Device

Click DESKTOP in the bottom, you will have options to manage the Wyse device such as System Setup, PPPoE, Dialup and PPTP.

 

To setup Preference, Network, Display, Dual Head, Serial and Printer, select System Setup.

 

 

How to configure to access a Remote Desktop or Terminal Server

1. Double click on Connect Manager.

2. Highlight Default RDP and select Settings.

3. In the Connection Settings (RDP), enter the logon information such as host name or IP, username, password and domain name.

4. You may also start a application after logon.

By opening RDP Connection Settings, you can setup display, auto-connection on start-up, auto-connect to local devices.
