How to run Disk Cleanup Utility in Vista

 

To run the Disk Cleanup utility to release the disk space, please follow the steps below:

1. Click Start, type cleanmgr in the Start Search box and press Enter.
2. Click "Files from all users on this computer".
3. Select the drive which is out of space and click OK.
4. When the Disk Cleanup window appears, switch to the "More Options" tab.
5. Click "Clean up" under "System Restore and Shadow Copies" and click
Delete.
6. Switch back to "Disk Cleanup" tab.
7. Select the files you would like to clean up and click OK.
