How to setup S-Video in Vista

If your computer comes with S-Video, you may be able to play movies on the computer and watch it on your TV. To watch a movie on TV, please follow these steps:

1. Connect the computer to the TV using S-Video cable.

2. In Windows Vista, go to Start>Control Panel>Personalization> Display Settings. If your Graphics card support S-Video, you should have two screens, 1 and 2 (see figure). Right click on screen 2 and click on Attached. Then hold screen 1 and move it over Screen 2. The Windows should show in the TV screen.

3. Start playing your movie on the computer. You may need to use mouse to move the movie windows to TV screen.
