How to Manage Vista Task and Start Menu

1. Open Task and Start Menu by right click on the task bar or type task in the Start Search.

2. In taskbar menu, you have these options: Lock the taskbar, Auto-hide the taskbar, Keep the taskbar on the top of other windows, group similar taskbar buttons, Show quick launch.

3. To choose Vista Start menu or Classic Start menu, click Start menu tab.

4. To hide inactive icons, clock, volume, network and power, select Notification Area tab.

5. In Toolbars tab, you can select which toolbars to add to the taskbar toolbar.
