How to forward port in Linksys
router This how to based on Linksys BEFVP41 router and the example is forwarding port 3389 for TS access. 1. Run Web-based Utilities by using an internet browser. Type the router's IP in address, for example, http://192.168.1.1. 2. Click The Applications & Gaming tab. 3. You will see the Port Range Forwarding screen. 4. Enter TS as the name of the application. 5. Enter 3389 as port # under Start and End. 6. Select Both for TCP and UDP. 7. In IP Address, Enter the private IP address of one computer that you want to access. Note: to find the computer's IP address, run Command Prompt on the XP, type ipconfig command and press Enter. 8. Check the Enabled box to enable the services you have defined. Port Range Forwarding will not function if the Enabled button is left unchecked. 9.
