How to Configuring Port Forwarding on Netgear WGT624 This how to is based on Netgear WGT624 and enables port 1723 for PPTP. 1. From the Main Menu, under Advanced, click on Port. Port Forwarding screen displays as the below. 2. Select Add Custom Service 3. Enter the port number 1723 in both Starting Port and Ending Port. 4. Enter the IP address (e.g. 192.168.1.10) of the local PC in the corresponding PC IP Address box. 5. Type a name for the service, for example VPN 6. Click Apply at the bottom of the menu.
