How to setup Service Recovery actions to take place when a service fails

In some cases, you may want to set up Service Recovery actions to take place if a service fails, such as restarting the service automatically, run a program or restarting the computer. For example, the Exchange server may receive Event ID 7031 and the Information Store is stopped for unknown reason. To re-start the service automatically, you can use Service Recovery option. To do this, follow theses steps.

1.   Open Services

2.   Right-click the service for which you want to set recovery actions, and then click Properties.

3.   On the Recovery tab, click the actions you want in First attempt, Second attempt, and Subsequent attempts.
