Situation: The client has a Hyper-V with two SQL servers. Each server has 3 drives, C for OS, E for SQL Database, F is backup. They wonder if they can restore C and E without F for the fast restoring.
The answer is yes, you can. First of all, you need to select Entire VM restore.

Then select VM files restore (VSV, BIN, XML)

Now, you should have options to select which VM files you want to restore.

Another option will be create two backup jobs, one for C and E drives, and second job for F drive only.
