Case Study - How to limit one TS user on one device Situation: A small company has a TS running on Windows 2000 server as DC for their clients access. There are around 20 TS users and 25 TS CALs. Problem: Some TS clients use multiple computers access to the TS. For example, a user may use his laptop when he travels while the same user may use his home computer when he is at home. The client wonders if it is possible to limit one use using one device. Resolution: Since they have a DC and all TS users are outside users, we decide to use Log On To feature to limit each user on the device assigned to him/her. To do that, open the properties of the user, select Account. Click Log On To. Select The following computers and then type the computer host name. Note: you can assign multiple computers. Click OK to save the settings. Post your questions, comments, feedbacks and suggestions Related Topics How to clear Terminal Server 2000 licenses Troubleshooting terminal server issues
