How to install Microsoft E-Mail Router 1. Run SetupExchange.exe from Microsoft CRM CD or the location you download it. 2. Select the Router components you want to install. 3. Select the install location. 4. The setup will check the system requirements. Click next to nisnatll or continue. 5. The setup starts to install and click Finish when it completes.
How to configure CRM E-Mail Router Configuration Profile 1. Open Microsoft Dynamic CRM E-Mail Router Configuration Manager. 2. In configuration Profile tab, click New. 3. To setup Outgoing email, enter Profile Name; select Outgoing from Direction; SMTP is only option for E-Mail Server Type; type the Exchange server name in the Server.
5. if you want to setup Incoming email, select Incoming in Direction; select Exchange in the E-Mail Server Type; type Exchange server with URL in the Server Location. 6. If you receive "you must enter a valid URL for the location of the e-mail server" message, make sure type correct format for the server, for example, http://exchange.
7. Click OK to finish the Configuration Profile settings.
1. Click on Deployments tab and then Nex. 2. Type the CRM server name and organization name. Note; If both CRM and Exchange in the same LAN, you may not need to use HTTPS. 3. Select the Configuration Profile accordingly. 4. Click OK to save the settings.
Note: you can find CRM organization name in the top right of the CRM web site.
Complete the CRM E-Mail Router configuration and test it 1. Click Users, Queues, and Forward Mailboxes tab. 2. Select the Deployment you just created and click Load Data. 3. All users who are setup to use E-Mail Router in CRM will show up. 4. To test, click on Test Access.
