How to create SQL Cleanup to clean backup files
1. Open Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio. 2. Navigate to SQL ServerName>Management>Maintenance Plan>Maintenance Plan Wizard.
3. Type plan name and click Next to continue. 4. Check Maintenance Cleanup Task. 5. In the Define Maintenance Cleanup Task, make sure Backup files is checked; select the folder files locate; select task run time. Click Next to save the settings.
