How to remove Network and Proactive Thread Protection
Don't install Network and Proactive Thread Protection in SEP
It is not recommended to install Network and Proactive Thread Protection in SEP. If you do you may have a problem to share LAN recourses on the computers running EndPoint.
To uninstall Network and Proactive Thread Protection, please follow these steps:
1. Open Add/Remove Programs from Control Panel.
2. Highlight Symantec EndPoint Protection Mangier and click on change.
3. Select Modify to continue.
4. Uncheck Proactive Thread Protection and Network Thread Protection and click Next to uninstall Proactive Thread Protection.
