How to find out which port HP Blade server uses
1. To find out which port a HP Blade server uses, you can download HP Ethernet Connectivity Mapper from http://chicagotech.net/Tools/hpecm.exe.
2. Run hpecm.exe.
3. For the S1-1 in Device Bay 1 means it is connecting to
Switch Bay 1 (which is left switch if you face to the switch), port 1. For
the Device Bay 7, it is connecting to switch Bay 1, port 15 and
LAC
4 = when configuring the NICs for teaming application will create an extra
interface which is where the IP address of the team is configured. .
