How to migrate SBS 2003 to Windows 2008 R2 Note: in this example,
we don’t have Exchange, SQL and Proxy server running on the SBS 2003. We
just want to migrate the SBS domain Controller to a new server running on
Windows 2008 R2. 1. Prepare for Windows SBS 2003 to Windows 2008 migration 2. Install Windows

Windows 2008 R2 DC work fine or create a DNS if it doesn’t have one. Refer
