How to extend Volume in Windows 2008
You can extend a disk in Windows 2008 Disk Management. 1. Add or expand a disk to the Server, for example, How to expand VM disk in Hyper-V2. Run Server Manager. 3. Navigate to Storage>Disk Management. 4. Right click on the volume you want to extend and select Extend volume. In our example, teh current volume is 50GB and total disk is 55GB.
5. In the Select Disks, add available space, 5GB in our case. Click Next.
6. confirm the selected disk and click Finish to complete the wizard.
7. Now, you should the volume has total 55GB space.
