How to Create a Group (users' home directories) for File Shares

C. Create the file share

1. Logon one of node with administrator account

2. Run Cluster Administrator from the Administrative Tools.
3. Choose the File menu.
4. Select New>Resource.

5. In the New Resource,  type “Home Folders Share” on the Name box. In the Description box, you can add a description if you like. In the Resource Type box, select “File Share”. This designates that this will be a File Share resource. In the Group box, select File Shares since this will be the group we want the resource to exist with the IP and Name previously created. Click Next button
