How to configure NIC Teaming in ESX
1. Login vSphere Client. 2. Highlight the host, select Networking in the Hardware section. 3. Click Configuration tab. 4. Select the Properties.. of the vSwitch you want to create a NIC Teaming. In our example it is vSwitch1.
5. Highlight the vSwitch and click Edit.
6. Select NIC Teaming tab. The Default Load Balancing is Route based on the originating virtual port ID. You also have other options: Route based on IP hash, Route based on source on MAC hash and Use explicit failover order.
7. Click OK to create the NIC Teaming.
