How to install a Guest OS image in ESX 4.1
There are many options to install a guest OS in VMware ESX. Here are some
example.
To select the installation resource, click Settings on the Virtual machine. Select CD/DVD Drive 1 in the Hardware. In the right pane, select the device as instillation resource. For example, to install the OS from the client device check the Connected to this client, Connect at power on, and Client device.
To install OS using iso in the host Datastore, you need to upload the iso to
