How to map a vSphere client device in ESX
In our example, we will connect to a iso image in the local drive of vSphere client. 1. With VM power on, click Connect/disconnect CD/DVD derives icon, select Connect to ISO image on local disk.
2. browse to the ISO image location, for example G:\download. 3. When the VM reboot, it will start to read the iso image from the client local drive.
