How to run Windows Safe Mode in VMware
In many cases when you try to run Windows Safe Mode on VMware by pressing F8, it doesn't work because the booting runs too fast or the time set 0. You may have many options to run Safe Mode as we descript the below.
A. Re-configure VM Power-on Boot Delay 1. Shutdown the VM 2. Right click on the VM and select Edit Settings. 3. Select Options tab. 4. In the Boot Options, change the Power-on Boot Delay as shown below.
B. Re-configure Force BIOS Setup Do the same as A. Then check Force BIOS Setup.
C. Setup Safe boot using msconfig. 1. Run msconfig. 2. Click Boot tab. 3. In the Boot options, check Safe boot. 4. after restart, the Windows will run Safe Mode. To reset normal boot, run msconfig again and uncheck Safe boot.
