 Troubleshooting Browsing over VPN - B1: Ping remote computers by IP.

If you can ping the VPN server but not the remoter computers. Check these steps:

1. Make sure no firewall/NAT is blocking the ping and file sharing.
2. Make sure IP routing enabled.
3. Make sure you select remote group or IP range instead of one IP address if you setup IPSec VPN. For example, check Linksys Router to Router VPN.

If you can ping the remote computer by IP but not host name, then IP connectivity is present and the problem is most likely related to name resolution issue over VPN.
