1. The Requirements of Installing Active Directory

·         An NTFS partition with 250mb or more of free space

·         A local Administrator account with password

·         A NIC with properly configured TCP/IP.

·         A network connection with hubs or switches

·         A properly configured DNS server (the DNS can be installed while installing the DC)

·         The Windows 2000 CD media
