How to setup other users to access your Mailbox

There are two way we can assign permission to access other user's mailbox.

1. Active Directory Mailbox ACLs – Full Mailbox Permission to access mails We don't recommend  Active Directory Mailbox ACLs for assigning the Read-Only permission. Please refer to this page for assigning Full Access Permissions: How to assign Full Access Permissions to a Mailbox In Exchange 2010

2. MAPI Folder Permissions – This is the correct way to assign Read-only permission.

To assign MAPI Folder Permissions, please follow these steps:

1. In the mailbox you want to give other user to access, right click on Mailbox and select Properties.

2. Click Permissions tab and click Add.

3. Select  the Permission level you want.

4. Click OK to save the settings.
