Check Exchange Server

To determine which version of Microsoft Exchange Server5.5, 2000 and 2003 you are running:

1.	Start Exchange System Manager (Exchange Server 2000 and later) or Exchange Administrator (Exchange Server 5.5 and earlier).
2.	Click the Servers object for the Administrative Group or Exchange Site to which the server belongs. The Server Version column lists information for each server in the group. Note For Exchange Server 2000, the version is 6.0; for Exchange Server 2003, the version is 6.5.

For checling Exchange 2010 Versioning

The RTM version of Exchange 2010 is 14.00.0639.021. The Build version is 14.00.0702.000. The SP1 version of Exchange is 14.01.0218.015. This version information is consistently displayed in the Exchange Management Console, the Exchange Management Shell, and in the About Exchange Server 2010 Help dialog box.

You can also use the Get-ExchangeServer cmdlet and examine the AdminDisplayVersion property for the Exchange 2010 build version.
