Configuring GFI MailEssentials for Anti-Spam

3. Configuring Whitelist

The Whitelist is a list of email addresses and domains from which you always wish to receive emails. To configure the Whitelist, double click on the Whitelist. Node. The first tab is the Whitelist configuration.

To add a whitelisted domain or email addresses, click the Add button. In the Email Address/Domain edit box enter the email addresses. For adding emails from an entire domain, enter ‘*@yourdomain.com’; for the entire domain suffix of edu, for example, do *@*.edu. You will have 4 potions to specify in which email header field this entry should be matched as shown below figure. For example, to exclude all ChicagoTech.net local users from spam filtering, simply enter the entire domain, and select the Check MIME TO: option.
