Configuring GFI MailEssentials for Anti-Spam
3. Configuring Whitelist The
Whitelist is a list of email
addresses and domains from which you always wish to receive emails. To
configure the Whitelist, double click on the Whitelist
To add a
whitelisted domain or email addresses, click the Add button. In the
Email Address/Domain edit box enter the email addresses. For adding
emails from an entire domain, enter ‘*@yourdomain.com’; for the entire
domain suffix of edu, for example, do *@*.edu.
You will have 4 potions to specify in which email header field this entry
should be matched as shown below figure. For example, to
exclude all ChicagoTech.net local users from spam filtering, simply enter
the entire domain, and select the Check MIME TO: option.
