How to setup dual boot Vista and XP
To run dual boot Vista and XP in a computer, you may have
many options:
-
Install Vista on a computer running XP with two hard disks
or two partitions. That should not be a problem and just install it in a
new installation on different partition that is not XP running.

Install Vista on a computer running XP with one hard disk
or partition. In this case, you need disk partition utility to shrink the
Windows XP partition on the hard disk and create enough space for an
installation of Vista. Refer to

using Gparted live CD utility.

Install XP on a computer running Vista. You may use Vista
disk partition utility or third part tool like Gparted ive CD. Refer to

partition tool.
